To Donald, President of the United States of America
CC: J.D. Vance, White House Worship Leader
Dear Donald,
What is it about the recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians and civilian infrastructure that has you fuming enough to threaten to put new sanctions on Russia? It's not like that attack was the first Russian attack on civilians and civilian infrastructure during its war against Ukraine. And despite those previous attacks, you wanted Zelenskyy to sign a treaty that was dictated by Putin and created without Ukrainian or European participation. When Zelensky refused because he said that Putin could not be trusted, you tried to bully him into signing. And your White House Worship Leader, Vance, gave Zelenskyy a lot of grief for not giving you the praise and gratitude that he thought you deserved.
And so now you're ready to punish Russia with sanctions for its latest attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure? Is that because Putin didn't follow your instructions--but remember who got you elected--or is it because Zelenskyy was right about Putin in the first place and you're more concerned with your image more than trying to establish a lasting and just peace. In the light of the latest Russian attacks, are you going to go back to the drawing board and throw out the Russian proposal and start fresh? BTW, how is it that Putin would have never invaded Ukraine if you were President when he has unleashed brutal attacks on Ukrainian civilians and civilian infrastructure during your Presidency?
And I guess that by now, you can guess the word that follows 'You're" in the title of this letter. But in case you can't, the word is 'FIRED.' But fired from what? You're fired from the assumed title that each previous President, including you in your first term, assumed to have inherited. You are fired from being designated the 'Leader of the Free World.'
Well, maybe fired is not the precise word to use. Instead, we should say that you resigned from that position. How did you resign? By ruling our nation with your EOs and changing alliances from our traditional allies to Putin and his Oligarchs, which is unfortunately not a Russian music group. By doing that, you have caused America to leave the Free World as decisively as you had America leave the Paris Accords.
And Musk could not have made a more disingenuous statement than when he said: 'what we are really trying to do here is to restore the will of the people through' your Presidency. By saying that Musk was equating the 'will of the people,' or the nation, with you. Saying that the leader is the nation or the people of a given nation is what DICTATORS say. The Tsars claimed such a tight association as they ruled as dictators over Russia. Lenin did the same as he so tightly bound the Revolution to him so that if one opposed what he promoted, they would be called a 'counterrevolutionary.'
All of the previous paragraph repeats what I wrote about before in a previous article (click here). That you would try to make or portray America as an extension of yourself. That is why you renamed the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America. But of course you could have done worse, you could have called it the Gulf of Trump. But again, you are trying to make America an extension of yourself.
And so you can't be the leader of the Free World when you have caused your nation to leave the Free World. And just in case J.D. is listening here, thank you Donald for reading this article.
