This Month's Scripture Verse:

For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Are Some Trump Supporters Promoting A One-World Government?

Certainly we cannot afford to make a monolith of any candidate's supporters. Some are true believers while others only agree on enough key issues to support a candidate while others are simply voting for a particular candidate as a vote against another candidate.

However, when we consider Trump's loyal supporters, what is it that we find? With some we find people who support his "America-First" agenda. Trump has ushered in a new nationalism into the elections. But it isn't just the US that is experiencing an emergence of right-wing Nationalism, other nations like Germany, France, Austria, and Hungary are too. And there is a common thread amongst those right-wing nationalist movements including the loyal Trump supporters. That common thread is friendly relationships between their leaders and Vladimir Putin as well as various levels of support from their leaders for Putin.

Now such ties are important when considering what Putin is doing now as well as what he might be considering in the future. For Putin has directed his military to invade Ukraine and there is speculation that he wants to invade other nations as well.

Now Putin doesn't need to invade every nation that he wants to incorporate into Russia's sphere of control or even empire. Other nations have used proxy leaders in foreign nations to increase their sphere of influence or control. Using proxy leaders is par for the course for strong nations, such as the U.S., when attacking significantly weaker nations.

So the question remains is how many nations does Putin want a controlling influence over. Is it every nation or just the vast majority of them?

The more nations that Putin wants to pulling Russia's sphere of influence or control, then the more Putin is becoming the leader of a One-World government. And what is ironic here is that much of Trump's support in America comes from religiously conservative Christians whose biggest fear is that the Democrats are or will be trying to submit the US to a One-World government. But the person who seems to be doing the most to work for a One-World government is the person for whom the majority of white, religiously conservative  Christians support the most.

We saw during the Trump Administration how Trump is supportive of Putin. In addition, he has not just failed to condemn Putin's invasion of Ukraine, he has praised Putin for how he has had his Russian forces invade Ukraine. How ironic it would be if the candidate shouting 'America-First' the loudest is in reality working for a foreign leader. And how more ironic it would be if that leader for whom Trump is working is trying to form as much of a One-World government as he possibly can since one of the biggest explicitly expressed fears of the religiously conservative Christian side of Trump supporters is the fear of a One-World Government.
