Climate Change is here. Here in America, most people have only felt a slight impact from it. That is most people though. Some are feeling more of its effects.
The problem with Climate Change is that it doesn't stand a reasonable chance of being adequately addressed by America until more of us suffer greatly or, in other words, when its too late. Then, perhaps then, we will listen to science. But then again, many of us have refused to listen to science despite the millions of infections and the over 700,000 deaths of Americans from Covid-19. So perhaps there is no hope of America adequately responding to Climate Change.
But while we have been living in denial, others are barely surviving. That is the word from Rich Smith (no bio), a communications and IT manager for Feed The Hungry UK (click here). In an article (click here for the article) posted on the Christian Today website, he describes how certain 3rd world nations are CURRENTLY being ravaged with either too little or too much rainfall. In the former, crops cannot be successfully planted by villagers. In the latter, resources are destroyed by floods.
I could comment on the article or give a summary of its contents, but that would do a disservice to the article. So please, read the article (again, click here) so we can see what others are experiencing now. Those others could very well be our future before we know it.
